🔵 What our team thinks

The Novablast 5 is flying off the shelves across the UK and retailers are scrabbling for stock. The hype around this shoe is intense and it seems an upgrade on the Novablast 4.

First impressions were of a comfortable and supportive shoe. It's equally adept at many paces, which seems to be the attribute which set's it apart from the competition. It's equally comfortable at slow paces, tempo run's, intervals and as a race day shoe for average speed runners.

The highest compliment I can give this shoe, is that I often forgot about it during a long run. That to me is a sign of a good shoe if you don't notice it and your mind wanders elsewhere. There were no hot spots or rubbing for me and it seemed stable for a neutral shoe, probably due to the relatively wide base. I would imagine this shoe should wear relatively well due to the extensive rubber grip on the sole and I wore this is icy conditions and it seemed grippy.
