This review is based on an experience with the HOKA Arahi 8 Mens Road Running Shoes
Having had a couple of earlier models of the Arahi I was excited to see how the latest version compared after some pretty significant changes. The new Arahi 8 has now switched from Hoka’s J-frame support to their H-frame similar, although a slightly different shape and feel, to that seen in the Gaviota 5 (another great cushioned support shoe). The mould used by Hoka has also now changed. What this means for your feet is that where, as a brand, they were previously a bit narrow and ran a little short they are a much truer size now so I definitely recommend coming down and trying on in store to get the right size.
The first thing I noticed when I put them on was not only the slight size change but how much softer the shoe now feels. Much like the ASICS GT-2000 14 and the Saucony Hurricane 25, it’s nice to see brands coming out with these kind of options in support shoes which had traditionally always been on the firmer side. More importantly though it hadn’t lost any of the support and stability that I need.
This shoe has been my go to daily trainer for the last couple of months and felt great straight out of the box. It’s just easy, comfortable and supportive which is everything that I wanted from it. While it wouldn’t be the shoe I’d grab for any speed work, it’s great at my slower paces and easier runs and due to the softer feel and new support I have used it for some recovery runs where my legs are tired and need a little extra help!
All in all a great update to the Arahi range and support shoes in general.

For orders under £75, standard tracked delivery is from £2.99 (approx. 3–5 working days), express tracked from £3.99 (approx. 1–2 working days), and premium next-day options are available at checkout. Store Collection
Click & Collect is available from our stores for FREE. Your chosen store will contact you when your order is ready to collect (please allow up to 7 days).
European & International Shipping
Tracked European delivery starts from £9.99 (approx. 5–10 working days depending on country). Rest of World tracked delivery starts from £19.99 with timings varying by destination. Additional courier options (including FedEx) are available at checkout where supported.
USA Shipping
We are currently unable to ship to the United States. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Customs & Extra Charges
Some larger items may incur extra delivery fees, and international orders may be subject to customs or import charges which are the responsibility of the customer.

Christmas Returns
Orders placed between 1 Nov–25 Dec 2025 qualify for exchanges until 5 Jan 2026. Refund terms remain unchanged.
How to Return
Request a return through your online account within 14 days of receipt. Once approved, follow the email instructions and return using a tracked service (postage at your cost) within 14 days of making the request. Do not attach labels directly to shoe/boot boxes.
Store Returns
Some items may be returned to a Moti Running store with advance notice and printed proof of purchase. Stores cannot issue refunds; they only confirm receipt for our returns team.
Refunds
Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you need a refund. Items must be returned within a further 14 days. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your return.
Free Gifts & Offers
Refunds require all promotional items to be returned. Exchanges for size require only the size-exchange item; exchanges for different items require all offer items returned.
Clearpay / Klarna
Refunds are issued back to your Clearpay or Klarna account. These orders cannot be returned in stores.
Gift Vouchers / Credit Notes
Refunds are returned to the original voucher or credit note.
Faulty Goods
Contact us before returning faulty items. If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, refunds or replacements will follow Consumer Rights Act 2015 guidelines.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
