Mizuno Neo Vista 2 Mens Road Running Shoes

The Mizuno Neo Vista 2 is a plush, high-stack super trainer that excels in comfort for long, easy runs. Its nitrogen-infused ENERZY NXT foam delivers a soft, bouncy ride, with a fiberglass nylon Wave plate adding mild propulsion and stability without the rigidity of a carbon plate. The redesigned knit upper is roomier and more breathable, though it may feel too loose for runners such as myself who prefer a snug fit so I would recommend sizing down half a size. The Neo Vista 2 shines for recovery and daily miles, but in my experience it also showed great responsiveness when faced with faster tempos. However the shoe may feel unstable for some, especially heel strikers or heavier runners.

The Neo Vista 2 is perfect in any weather on the road, I took them out for a super hilly 10 Mile run in the rain and the tread was great, although on more gravely surfaces I.e. canals, the shoe does tend to struggle as the terrain restricts that great bouncy feel. Mizuno’s signature rocker geometry promotes efficient midfoot landings and smooth transitions, reducing fatigue and supporting larger muscle groups during runs. This design makes the Neo Vista 2 particularly effective for long runs and moderate-paced efforts. It is an insanely fun ride due to its soft, bouncy ride and responsive foam. Overall the Mizuno Neo Vista 2 is great for making runs enjoyable, especially for runners who prioritise comfort and a light, effortless feel.
