Silverpoint Scout XL230 Headtorch

The Silverpoint Scout XL230 provides strong all round performance with 230 lumens of white light from the main LED, 70 lumens flood light from the two white side LEDs and a 5 lumen red LED output.

A white Cree XP-G3 LED provides high and low outputs, two SMD white LEDs provide a diffused flood output and a single SMD LED provides a red output. The dual push button on top of the head torch operates the main LED separate to the flood and red LEDs. The right hand button cycles through the main white modes with single presses in the order of high, low, flash off. The left hand button cycles through the modes with single presses in the order of white flood, red constant, red flashing, off.

Furthermore the Guide is IPX6 rated making it sufficiently waterproof to be used in heavy rain, wet conditions or can withstand being dropped in a puddle. It uses three AAA batteries that fit inside the head lamp unit, reducing the weight on the back of the head and the Scout XL230 only weighs 85 grams with the batteries fitted.

The sturdy hinge allows the direction of the light to be adjusted, so that you can shine the beam where you need it the most.
